The Annual General Meeting of Girl Guides Australia was held on Friday, 15 May 2009 at the Hobart Town Hall, Macquarie Street, Hobart. The Chief Commissioner Lynne Price presented her report for 2008. The Guest speakers were five young Tasmanian Guide women who attended Girl Guides Australia's Advocacy and Leadership Training event - Taking the Lead, a young women's forum in Sydney, January 2009 which introduced the participants to WAGGGS Global Action theme.

Lynne Price, Chief Commissioner presented the 2007 Annual Report for Girl Guides Australia at the Annual General meeting of Girl Guides Australia held on Friday 16 May 2008 at the Aquatic Life Centre, Victoria Park, Western Australia. The meeting was attended by Jane Scarlett - Vice-President, , Miriam Holmes - Assistant Chief commissioner,Doug Strugnell - treasurer, Members of the Girl Guides Australia Board, Linden Edgell - member of the World Board, June Cameron - Chair of the Asia Pacific Region for WAGGGS and Ching Ching Wee Ong - Assistant Director Asia Pacific Region, Janis Wittner - Four World Centres Committee member,members of Guides and supporters. Natasha Hendrick, a Guide member presented a fascinating account of her recent Churchill Scolarship study tour of USA, Canada and UK. At teh meeting it was announced the awarding of the Silver Kangaroo to Linden Edgell and the Red Kangaroo to Elizabeth Adnams.

The Annual General Meeting for Guides Australia was held on Friday 18 May 2006 at Parliament House, Brisbane. The President of Guides Australia, Her Excellency Mrs Jeffery was in attendence. Lynne Price, Chief Commissioner for Guides Australia presented the 2006 report and Doug Strugnell, the treasurer, the financial report. Mariko Asano, Member of the Asia Pacific Regional Committee of The World Association of Girl Guides and Girl Scouts gave an informative presentation on Guiding in the Region. During the meeting Guides Australia Vice-President, Jane Scarlett led the dedication of the Chief Commissioner's new standard. The new standard has been beautifully made by Olive Claydon, a Trefoil member in Queensland.
